Liability for our own content

As a service provider we are responsible for our own content on these pages in accordance with general law. There is no general obligation to monitor information transmitted or stored by users or to actively investigate circumstances that indicate illegal activity (Art. 8 DSA, § 7 DDG).

Liability for user content (hosting)

OpenStage stores information provided by users (hosting within the meaning of Art. 6 DSA). We are not liable for such third-party content as long as we do not have actual knowledge of an illegal activity or of illegal content and – as regards claims for damages – are not aware of facts or circumstances from which the illegality is apparent. Upon obtaining such knowledge or awareness we will act expeditiously to disable access to or remove the content.

Judicial or administrative orders to remove or block content remain unaffected. Event descriptions, dates, addresses, profile details and uploads come from the respective hosts. OpenStage does not review them in advance.

Liability for links

Our site contains links to external third-party websites (e.g. Google Maps, Google Calendar, Outlook, WhatsApp, Telegram, Instagram, YouTube) over which we have no control. The respective provider or operator is always responsible for the content of the linked pages. Permanent monitoring of linked pages is not reasonable without concrete indications of a legal violation.

Copyright

Content and works created by us on these pages are subject to German copyright law. Reproduction, editing, distribution and any kind of exploitation outside the limits of copyright require our consent. Downloads and copies of these pages are permitted for private, non-commercial use only, unless otherwise indicated.

User content remains with the respective rights holders. The licence granted to us is set out in the terms. City photos and fonts: see below.

Dispute resolution

We are neither obliged nor willing to participate in dispute resolution proceedings before a consumer arbitration board.

UI fonts Fraunces (Underminate / Google Fonts) and Source Sans 3 (Adobe): SIL Open Font License 1.1. Files are embedded at build time and served by OpenStage, not loaded live from fonts.google.com.

Derived from Wikimedia Commons (crop, WebP). Original licences and attribution still apply:

Cover library

Base images for the cover/infographic generator are original OpenStage work (no identifiable people, no third-party stock photos).

Hero backgrounds (home page)

The rotating home-page photographs under apps/web/public/hero/ are also original OpenStage work (instruments and empty stages, no identifiable people).
